In connection with the still current situation due to the occurrence of COVID-19, and especially concerning the measures taken by the competent authorities against the spread of the disease, we would like to inform you and at the same time draw your attention to the obligations of employers, or business entities in general, which must be ensured in the context of the protection of health and safety at work, as well as compliance with the general principles of the protection of public health.
The current situation requires effective steps to prevent the spread of the disease and minimize health risks, while keeping societies in operation.
Even in light of the latest resolutions of the Government of the Slovak Republic, it is clear that employers will have to ensure effective health protection measures in addition to general obligations and, to this end, create appropriate conditions and especially effective measures to minimize the potential negative consequences of the pandemic.
